The fenced cattle exclosure contains the wetlands along Turkey Run immediately upstream of Lake Louise. The exclosure is surrounded by cow pasture (rotational grazing).;Very small patch of tussock sedge fen developing wet meadow along floodplain of Turkey Run. This wetland was fenced in October and has had 2 growing seasons without cattle. The high cover of invasives will likely diminish as hydrology stabalizes and soil becomes less compacted with removal of cattle.
Representativeness
Plot was placed to sample entire stand of tussock sedge community within larger wet meadow of forbs and pasture grasses.
